It is ideal for providing a rough cut to taller grass where loose debris may be an issue, such as on roadsides. The FFM’s design includes a rotating horizontal drum with sharp and durable flails. If a flail comes into contact with something solid, it will simply bounce off and bypass that particular object. In contrast, rotary mowers can grab small objects and eject them from the mower deck. This unique feature makes the FFM the perfect choice for areas where flying debris could cause damage. In addition, it is also effective for managing weeds and preventing their unwanted growth. Another great use for it is mulching vineyards and orchard pruning. Its hydraulic feature allows it to reach areas of the ground where cutting grass is a challenge. The FFM is compatible with tractors ranging from 35 to 60 HP.
