The Drum Spike Aerators are excellent for aerating hard, compacted soil to get water and nutrients to the roots of plants or grass seed, to help keep them looking healthy. Aeration of your lawn helps water, oxygen, and nutrients better access to the soil so your grass can grow strong and healthy.
The drum spike aerator will make holes in your lawn 1.75" to 2.5" deep. Once theses holes are in place, more water, fertilzer, and seeds can get down to the level that they need and help increase the strength of your lawn. The drum spike aerators will hold 14, 32, 40 gallons of water. The additional water will provide more pressure to enable the spikes deeper penetration in even the hardest clay.
